Misson Statement

To care for the whole person—mind and body—through compassionate, holistic, and patient-centered care. We believe healing happens when care is personalized, respectful, and grounded in both evidence-based practice and a deep understanding of each person's unique story, culture, and goals. We are committed to partnering with our patients as they work toward balance, wellness, and lasting change.

Our Philosophy

We believe health is more than the absence of illness—it is a state of balance between the mind, body, and spirit. Through compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based care, we seek to understand each patient's unique needs and empower them to achieve lasting wellness.

Meet the Provider

Sylvie Felix is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She has experience providing both primary care and psychiatric care, which allows her to take a well-rounded approach to mental health and overall wellness. I have been in the healthcare industry for more than 25 years and have worked with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults from all walks of life, backgrounds, experiences, and needs.

“I believe that meaningful care begins with listening. Every person comes with a unique story, different life experiences, and their own definition of what feeling well looks like. My role is not simply to diagnose or prescribe treatment, but to understand you as a whole person and work alongside you in reaching your goals.

My approach is holistic and patient-centered, combining evidence-based medicine with compassion, and respect. I want you to feel comfortable sharing your concerns without fear of judgment. Together, we will explore not only your symptoms, but also the factors that may be influencing your mental and physical well-being. By taking the time to understand what matters most to you, we can create a treatment plan that is thoughtful, personalized, and realistic for your life. “

What You Can Expect

“Our first visit is about getting to know you—not just your symptoms, but your story. We'll spend time talking about what brought you in, the challenges you've been facing, your medical and mental health history, and the experiences that have shaped where you are today. This comprehensive psychiatric evaluation allows me to gain a deeper understanding of your needs and the goals you hope to achieve."

In some cases, laboratory testing or other medical evaluations may be recommended. Certain medical conditions can contribute to or resemble mental health symptoms, and we must consider your overall health before deciding on the best course of treatment.

During our follow-up visit, we'll review everything we've learned and develop a treatment plan together. Depending on your needs and preferences, this may include therapy, medication management, lifestyle changes, or a combination of approaches. I believe that treatment decisions should be collaborative, and you'll always have a voice in the process. As we continue working together, we'll regularly check in to see how you're feeling, discuss what's helping, make adjustments when needed, and address any new concerns along the way. Healing isn't always a straight path, and your care should be flexible enough to grow and change with you.

My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. I strive to provide care with empathy, active listening, cultural sensitivity, and genuine compassion so that together we can work toward lasting improvements in both your emotional and physical well-being.”
